Training advice and support is offered around all disability issues and we can offer advice and support on equality issues in general.
We provide training courses advice and support that are customised for our clients' specific needs. Our clients can be anyone from an unemployed disabled person looking for work, to an employer who has never come into contact with a disabled person in the workplace. Our customised training courses include Disability and Equality Awareness Training, responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act, writing a CV, applying for work and interview techniques.

ACCESS TO WORK
If a disabled person finds a job, they may need some additional equipment to enable them to undertake their work effectively. If this all sounds too daunting, don't worry, because this is where we can help. Our consultants can carry out technical and ergonomic assessments to determine what help and equipment the disabled employee will need. For example, a visually impaired person may need a Video Magnifier to read printed documents, or a disabled person may need an ergonomic chair to rectify a back problem Please note that there is financial assistance available from the Government to pay for assistive technology, desks, chairs etc.
TAILORED ADVICE ON DISABILITY

We have qualified counsellors and can advise disabled people on career and educational options and choices. Furthermore, we offer counseling on emotional and personal development, setting objectives and stress management and we have access to complementary therapists.
THE DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION ACT
The Disability Discrimination Act makes it illegal for an employer or provider of goods and services to treat a disabled person less favourably. Furthermore, it requires that 'reasonable adjustments' be made to accommodate a customer or employee with a disability, either by making reasonable adjustments to the workplace or changing the way in which a service is provided.
You can also discriminate in favour of a disabled person or take positive action to employ under represented groups.
